The Spirit of Joy - A Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra Workshop

Our first seasonal workshop for this year shines a light upon the Fire Element. During Summer, the most Yang season, nature encourages us to expand our horizons, to explore, to connect and to appreciate. We can expect a time of high energy and activity, doing things we love with people we love.  But if the Fire element within us is out of balance, we can feel burnt out, anxious, have difficulty sleeping or we may feel lackluster and tinged with sadness. This workshop seeks to balance the corresponding organ system of the Heart and Small Intestine and offers some tools to help combat these extremes. Armed with understanding and some practical tips you can expect to feel calmer, more joyful and enthusiastic about the summer months ahead.


Workshop Includes:

Basic Acupressure: Points to address symptoms common to this season; namely stress, anxiety and digestive issues.

Gentle Yin Yoga: To stimulate the deep connective tissue (fascia) and the meridians of the Heart and Small Intestine.

Yoga Nidra: A powerful 40 minute guided relaxation, harmonising our relationship to the Fire Element via the subconscious and unconscious mind.

Workshop Notes: You’ll receive post workshop notes covering all the key points explored, so you can kick back and relax during the session.
