The Spirit of Joy - A Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra Workshop

During Summer, the most Yang season, nature encourages us to expand our horizons, to explore, to connect and to appreciate. We can expect a time of high energy and activity, doing things we love with people we love.  But if the associated element of Fire within us is out of balance, we can be left feeling burnt out, anxious, have difficulty sleeping or we may feel lacklustre and tinged with sadness. This workshop looks at the corresponding organ systems of the Heart, Small Intestine, Pericardium and Triple Heater and offers some tools to help combat these extremes. Armed with understanding and some practical tips you can expect to feel more rested, joyful and enthusiastic about the summer months ahead.

Workshop Includes:

Basic Acupressure and Energetic Practices: Addressing some common symptoms of Fire Element imbalance.

Gentle Yin Yoga: Stimulating our deep connective tissue and the meridians of the Heart, Small Intestine, Pericardium and Triple Heater.

Yoga Nidra: A powerful 40 minute guided relaxation, working on the level of the sub and unconscious mind.

Workshop Notes: You’ll be receiving a follow up email documenting the Acupressure Points and Energetic Practices explored, so you can kick back and relax during the session.
